This little girl seems to love being handled every time i put her in her cage after she climbs on me the first time she darts up the wall and onto my hand before i can even close the cage lid. This has happened every time i mist the cage or feed her she just wont stop{D :D

You're so lucky - in my versi's case, it's unrequited love ... very disappointing - maybe things will change after he molts? ...

I have 2 Versis too, along with P.Striata and P.Irminia and some others, the only 2 Ts that i wouldnt pick up is my versis hehe,if i need to take a spider out, i usually have to poke them gently out from their cages, and guess wich 2 that tries too kill the pen or what i use ? Both of them just instantly turn around and bites, no threat pose or anything, just trying to eat the pen.

However it may be because i fed them with a tweezer (valid english word ?) alot when they were smaller.

Versis instinctively want to go up. Hence why they run up the vial and onto your hand (the higher object)

This comes in particualrlly useful when handeling. If a bigger one gets scared and flees they will often end up on your head. Hold your hand slightly above your head and the versi will walk right onto it.

When feeding 200 versis it can be difficult as some really do not want to go in their vial. If you flip the fial on its side (or as much as you can without the substrate falling out) it will be easier to get the versi in it.

I love the cubes they sell at the container store that open in the middle. It is so easy to get my bigger versis into their containers.

Versi slings are the cutest!

The little versicolor I have is the same way....loves to come out, and play. Probably my most personable T. Even the so-called "arachnophobes" I know (most of them are women) cannot resist the sling's fuzzy little blue appeal...and all it has to do is climb around and look adorable. :p

As far as not wanting to go back into the enclosure, ALL my T's are like that. Once they're out, they want to be OUT!!! My P. irminia is so defiant about wanting to remain out, that it throws up multiple threat displays and will try to kill me if I even think about putting it back.
