Just within the last few days my adult male Veiled Cham. slowed down
on eating. from 5-6 crickets a day maybe 1 or 2 at best. He is about 2 1/2
years old. He ate 2 small moths I caught outside this morning but now he
is not climbing up to the top of his cage where the heat lamp is. I put
another lamp near the cage to help with heat. He still drinks a little from
the drip bottle but I can tell he is weakening somewhat. If he does this
for another day he may be too weak to eat. Any help would be appreciated.

If the Chameleon is vearing away from the heat lamp It can also mean it is too Warm.. Are the eyes sunken (Dehydration) & it isnt holding its mouth opened is it? (Indicating upper respitory infection or being over Heated). :?
I use to hav 9 Chams Jacksons, Veilds & Panthers... If he is really bad in the Morning My advise is take him to a good Exotics Vet. Once these guys go down hill it is HARD to pull them back. :8o Good LucK....
