I'm crossing my fingers that my A. avicularia, who hasn't been doing well since I received her in February, is finally feeling a little better. She's been huddled up on the screen, floor, or corkbark ever since I received her. For the past couple of days, however, she is actually spreading her legs out and looking a little more like normal.

I've been noticing that the abdomen is pretty small, but it doesn't look too bad in these pics.

Here's one of my baby A. avicularia, received at the same time as the female pictured above. I'm hoping for a molt soon.

Here's my 1" L. parahybana, Einstein. I'm really hoping for a female.

Here's my ~4" B. smithi, Fibonacci. It's been quite the hair-kicker since I got it a few weeks ago. It's just now starting to show some hair loss on the abdomen, so I'm assuming that it hasn't been too long since it last molted.

Here's my ~2" P. murinus, Copernicus. This one was hidden away for about a month before opening up its burrow, throwing its old skin out, and beginning to eat again. I went to check on it one day and as soon as I put my hand on the enclosure it began running around the (circular) enclosure 2 or 3 times at the speed of light before darting back in the burrow. :) I still can't get over how fast these guys are!

My baby G. rosea, Aristotle. For a G. rosea, this little one is a very good eater and devours anything that goes in.

My tiniest G. aureostriata, Franklin. I've had this one for about 2 months or so, but it has yet to molt. It's only about 1/4" or so.

Here's my A. geniculata, Thoreau, displaying it's well-endowed rear-end. :) It's only fed about 1 cricket per week, so I'm a little surprised at how large the abdomen has become. I can't figure out why, but it seems to enjoy filling its water dish with substrate. At first I tried to keep cleaning it out, but I finally just gave up.
