looks like some young, immature boys looking for some entertainment. I saw it as an unnecessary risk. :embarrassed:

Wasn't there a song by Donna Summer - That was hard on the bunny?

Regardless of anything else, that alligator looks an awful lot like a Tegu to me.

Cheers,

I agree with you Dave, the alligator wasn't an alligator but a tegu. I have one that big and it sure looked just like mine. I watched the video three times just to make sure.

Yea I saw those videos before. It seems stupid they fed a bunny to a snake when a few of my friends are spending $50 for them as pets. The bunny getting eaten was still very cool{D :}

I hate watching people risk the health of these beautiful predators by feeding live rodents when pre-killed will almost always work just as well.

That mouse was WAY too big for the tarantula... a pinky would have been more than enough of a meal.

Cheap thrills by some damn kids with no respect for the animals they own.

That was definitely a Tegu...probably a Columbian Black & White.

The snake was either a Burmese or African Rock Python, I couldn't tell because the camera work was crappy. These are VERY large snakes when adults and they require large food items such as rabbits. Its perfectly normal for people to use rabbits as feeders...although I don't think a live rabbit is very smart, theres nothing wrong with the choice of prey.

I wasn't going to bother with the link until you pointed out the mistake. I dont have time for halfwit extreme videographers, but once I knew he was at best an eighthwit, I had to go and gawk. I'm sure the adolescents watching the 'gator' wont see the misID, what with all the nose-picking and guffawing.
