Pterinochilus murinus. You have the red color form (RCF), there's also a typical color form (TCF) which is a tannish color. According to some there is also a UMV (Usumbara mountains variant) which is mix of the two, but many refer to these as RCF as well.

You don't know, that these names are not latin names? Many of them are names, old greek and a few latin. Did you research before writing your post?

what is that off white cube in the container with it?

btw, nice looking t you have there. i hope you have done some research, and are aware that you have one of the friendliest:)liar: ) ts there is. i got mine fairly early into the hobby..but had read a bunch from different sources and had a good idea of what i was getting into...also i bought small slings :D

so far they haven't been too bad..one struck at some tweezers once, but other than that, they prefer to duck into their tunnels. heh one tried to be sneaky and was hiding out on the underside of the lid(not transparent), but luckily i had already made a habit of checking the lid first.

No, because that was not the point.
Your question sounds somewhat arrogant, he doesn't knew, what he bought. But why? Because _you_ think, it is not a beginner T? I think it is! Because P. murinus is a hard species and tolerates a lot of mistakes. I can't say that from all other classical beginner T's.

WHAT ?

No, Im arogant because this is its first tarantula, he KNOW NOTHING ABOUT IT, not even the scientific name, and he handle it 5 time a day, like he said, personally, if he knew its thing, he would know that handling a murinus 5 time a day is LOOKING FOR TROUBLE. I think this is very immature comportement because he dont know the animal at all and dont seems to give a damn of it.

I dont think its not a good beginer tarantula, but its clearly not a good choice for an immature beginer keeper.

Except for shipping, using sponge is very bad
