Hi guess, I wanted to give you all an update on the novel I am writing for National Novel Writing Month. I am at 27 000 words (my goal is 100 000) and I have until Nov. 30 at 11:59 pm to finish it.
At the moment, I have to say that it isn't very good - but the goal of NaNoWriMo is quantity, not quality, and I have to say I've hit more than one diamond amidst the rough.
So far my characters are:
Main character: Avicularia avicularia
Main character #2: P. murinus
Supporting character: 1000s of l. parahybana slings the two main characters were stuck with after their mother accidentally suffocated in mud
In addition there have been appearances by a T. blondi, several pokies, and an H. maculata, with more to come.
So anyway, I wanted to thank you all, especially those who had responded to my query about T behaviour (If Ts were people). All the great stuff you posted has been my inspiration, as has your love of the hobby.
And now, back to the keyboard. =D
