update on eggsac..with pics

As some of you might know, my P. irmnia drop an eggsac March 13th '05.

they were both mated late December.

now an update, every morning I would check to see if she hasnt eaten the sac,due to paranoia, I went ahead and pulled the sac on April 8th which is day 26, (I read somewhere that you can pull the sac out at day 21). place it on a hammock incubator.

I opened the sac just a tiny bit to take a look on day 30 April 12th didnt see legs then cover it with a piece of tape.

due to leakage with a very sticky fluid of some of the eggs I decided to just open the sac and place it in the hammock.

I was a little worried the the eggs might be infertile considering the fact that the mom is only 3.75'' practically a teenager. then I notice the first eggs with legss on friday April 15th wich would make it day 33.

so far as of today I think I have 17 now with legs.

I guess the Hammock style works, I thought about ordering a Mechanical mom but I'm not gonna pay $185 for it...maybe someday.

I will post more pics as time progresses.
