Update on "Boots"~ A.avic

Well, he finally molted. If you remember, I thought he was sick
a while back. I had moved him into a smaller container to
watch him......Anyway, he has been in that same bowl all this time. The crusty film on his mouth is gone. No mites, no worms,
no worries.
I think he may have just been very stressed in his larger arboreal
jar :?
I have the molt and I will post pictures if he ever comes out of the web! That's another thing, in the old jar he NEVER made a single
strand of web, now he's a webbin' fool

All of my Avics (A. metallica, A. versicolor, 2 A. avics) are obessessive webbers. I hardly see them though.

my A. avic only seems to web a couple of weeks before he molts. and then he just builds a tube web. after the molt he tears it back down???

Is yours a confirmed male? I have females and they just keep adding on to their pre-existing webs after I destroy parts of them to get to the exuvia. I'd assume confirmed males would be a little more blase about webs since their major function is to seek out females rather than set up shop.

Yeah male avics do travel around and dont web much except for sperm webs. any ways My avic avic male(Mercury) is really umm how can I put this..wanting some. well any ways I will be getting a femme on thursday so I will try to breed them. I heard they're fairly easy to breed. any ways have a nice day.

No! I don't need anymore A. avics! Two is enough for me. I'm just hoping my sling turns out to be a female, which I believe she might since she has been obsessively webbing up her sling vial lid in preparation for a molt. If so she will be sharing some roomy quasrters with my older A. avic Pandora as soon as she reaches appropriate size.

hey come on Godzilla2000 they're so cute! they are adorable and they look like little fussballs and the slings have thoes nice patterns and umm oh yeah. you can never have enough of anything! any ways have a nice day
