Hi, here is an unknown beauty (Haplopelma longipes maybe), I bought a few days ago.

Definetly a Haplopelma sp. maybe longipes.

Popcorn spider :D

I know that identification by picture is popcorn, but it looks like species selling now over Germany under the name Haplopelma sp. Kambodgia... Looks similar to albostriatum, but has nice blue colored legs under good flash (it`s visible on second picture).... We will see later if it`s new species or just a color form of some of the known species...
I have 3 females of these, all mated at the moment... :} Very nice and interesting as well....

Yes identification is very difficult by picture. I talked to Volkman and asked him to identify it by a molt, but first it have to molt ;O)
But Spiderpeter, do you have a pic of one of your mated females?
Oh btw: this spec comes from Thailand, said the vendor.

hhmm.. isnt it just a Haplopelma longipes locality Kambodja? or might it be another sp.?

As I wrote, we will see later if its new species or just color form of something we already know.... Here is picture of one of my females, where is blue color very clearly visible (with big help of camera` flash).... Enjoy it... {D

yep!very nice specimen but the above one looks like a H.lividum. but some points are different. i had one of this sp. and shows blue on leges.and the carapace and abdomen are gray.! very similar to the pics on the top.
i do really wanna know who are they!
