Unfortunately I have to leave the hobby, for how long I'm not sure. My parents are forcing me to sell off my whole collection, with an exception with one tarantula, since I have spiderlings coming from loans I have made and the fact my adult female Heteroscodra maculata had escaped into the basement (which it has been 4 weeks since then), and financially, I cannot take care of any tarantulas right now.

So to those that we have made loans, I'm still awaiting the arrival of those slings. Unfortunately my parents require to have me sell them off as well.

I have an ad posted up in the for sale section, help me out if you can, I need these to go soon as possible to satisfy my parents.

I have had good and bad times with the hobby, but I know I'm not completely ready to disappear. Hopefully I can come back soon and start up my collection again.

I sold off my whole collection as well with the exception of 3. I would stay on the boards though. Its good to keep yourself sharp for when you eventually get back into it. =)

i had to sell/and give away all of my tarantulas and bearded dragons 2 years ago when i moved. didn't even have internet till about a year ago. got my own place again this june and last month i got a b.smithi (my only t at tis time). also where i live i'm only allowed 2 pets and they are only to be caged animals like bird, hamster or fish - not bigger than a 10 gallon tanks tho).:(
well i have a betta (my boy had to have it)
my b.smithi - couldn't pass it up, HAD to have it
and a hamster
so i know what you are going though, keep your head up, stick around, and eventually you'll have some t's again

I'm very sorry to hear that. :( Hopefully you can get back into the hobby when you're out on your own and able to make your own decisions.
