Unexplained injuries - Need Help

Well I got home last night and was watering my Ts. When I got to my Paraphysa sp. "Chilean Tiger" it was motionless in the corner with a leg curled under so I picked it up to check it out. I then noticed that it has a spinneret permanently down and can't move it. So I moistened the substrate and it crawled to a spot and layed motionless and unresponsive. Well I woke up this morning and it was moving again, but sluggishly and slowly. I also noticed this morning that one of it's pedipalps is also injured. I have no idea how it happened :?

really the only thing that came to mind almost straight away (which im sure you have thought of oready ;P), is maybe some live food, was left in the enclosure unaware to you, and it attacked the T, (Generally this would be crickets, blacks tend to be the the ones that have a temper on them).

Or for the spinneret, maybe she caught it (some how), or even had a fall. This generally is really the only logical reasoning that comes to mind, other than that, im stummped :}

Nope. No live food. Last time she was fed was last week and if she doesn't eat, I take the food out.

hmmm, then im going to stick by she caught her self, or fell...

Other than that, your gess is as good as any other :?, but then is she caught her self or fell, it really does not explain the front, and rear being injured, unless your T is as blond as they come {D

Non the less, how is she ?, she doing ok ??

She's pretty much motionless and not very responsive. She used to be an active one always walking around and such and the slightest disturbance sent her running. Now if you touch her, she barely even lifts a leg. I upped the humidity and put her in a dark spot. Hope all goes well.

WC or CB? Has it molted in your care yet? How big is it?

WC. Has not molted in my care. ~2".

It has a FAT abdomen, and I thought gravid, but nothing yet.

Now that I think of it, I do remember there being some sort of lip in it's enclosure that it got it's leg hung on one time, but I increased the substrate. That's probably how it's leg got injured, but I can't figure out the pedipalp or spinerette. It was a climber, but I always had the substrate up high.

My personal opinion is it might be a parasite, or some other cause related to being wild-caught and nothing to do with your own husbandry.

I also think (and sincerely hope I'm wrong) that it'll end up dying.

I too thought this as well, but I didn't know what the signs of a parasite are.

And they appear to be injuries. I know the leg is, it is a bit twisted.

Twisted leg, to me, doesn't explain the sluggishness or the droopy spinneret.

Update

Still pretty much unresponsive. Will move a little every now and then. Here are some pics, you can see the spinneret. And as in the pics, she will sit with a few legs curled and the others not. I need help. I like this little gal. What should I do?
