"Under the genital operculum" on Amblypygi

Hey there folks,

In terms of sexing amblypygi, I'm familiar with sexing them based on the sex of the operculum. However, I've also seen it's possible to sex them by looking UNDER the structure in molts.

I was wondering what you were looking for when you did that!

Obviously the exact structures will vary by species, but the general shape is pretty similar.

Yeah, I failed with search too and ended up just going over several pages of threads in this section because I was pretty sure it was sometime in the last two months
