Ummidia and cyclocosmia truncata

Two new trapdoor spider species i got in the mail the other day, cyclocosmia truncata and ummidia. This is my first ummidia and my first truncata. Though it would make more sense to post here than true spiders forums since these are much more closely related to tarantulas. also sorry if it makes anyone nervous that i held them so close together, i realize it was a dumb idea but i was too excited to get a shot with both them in it without realizing or thinking it through.

I've always loved the primitive look of the trapdoors. I think these, funnelwebs and jumpers are my favourites of the trues.

Those truncata are so cool looking. What a bizarre looking abdomen, one of my favorite trapdoors.
