So I checked on my scorps this morning to do misting and daily checks and all seemed fine, all looked healthy and acounted for.
I left to do some errands and go to work, when I came home to check on them again, all seemed ok until I checked my P. Cavimanus tank. I had recently just mated my male and female, and I left the male in with the female. Since they are a communal sp. I usualy keep the male with the female until the female starts to get plump.
However when I checked on them this time, my male decided to eat his mate while I was out, I guess he wasn't ready to be a father yet. I thought that usualy the female eats the male not the other way?
Either way next time I breed him I am going to seperate them, to ensure this dosen't happen again, but now I need another mature female.
