Well I haven't had any spiders molt in over a month. Today I wake up and look at them and my smithi is on its back and the regalis molted over night. My regalis is now 3 inches and the smithi which just finished molting is about the same. :D

btw, this is not the normal substrate I use. I ran out of my peat/verm mix.

Here are pictures.

Very nice series of pics! The funny thing is also that you can almost see if a T is freshly moulted, like with your smithi.

Love those series of molting pics... would be good for beginners that have never seen a molt because of the angle and clarity.

Nice molt sequence.

An empty water dish, especially during molting and afterwards, isn't a good idea.

It wasn't empty before. The damn smithi always spills his water right after I fill it. It was full, the area around it was wet too because of him. I already put a bigger bowl in so he doesn't make such a mess. I filled right after the molt and he had a nice big drink. I didn't want to disrupt him while he was molting to fill it.

yah, that was a really cool sequence. I haven't seen a molt in the flesh yet, just after...
