Another interesting read.
I have a red footed tortoise now, and I have to say they are awesome pets, although not for people who don't want a giant tank. She's still a juvenile and is in a 75g aquarium. I know I will have to build her a nice pen at some point, but I really think as long as you can handle the size tortoises are cool and rewarding pets. Turtles on the other hand...
