Turning shower into a Monitor Enclosure?

Has anyone done this? I have a spare bathroom downstairs that is just used for storage. To make use of it, I was thinking of closing off the open areas between the shower wall and the walls and ceiling of the room itself, and also installing a glass door. It would be for my Mangrove Monitor once he outgrows his current enclosure. The dimensions are roughly 8Hx4Lx3W. I'd also like to partition at most a 2x2x3 area for a small pool towards the faucet

Can it be done? And what would be the most efficient way of doing so as far as building materials, lighting, cleaning, and temperature management goes?

Thanks in advance!

Our cats turned our spare bathroom into a potty. No materials required. That doesn't help much, does it?
