is the Turkmenistan Roach (Blatta lateralis) the same as the infamous Red Runner (Shelfordella Tartara)?
I ask this because i'm looking for a third roach species and I want a small non climbing species to breed for looks and also feeders (for spiderlings and small scorps)
however, the Red Runner is a pest animal, escapes very easily and spreads through central heated appartment blocks like a wildfire. something I definitely don't want to happen.
if these are the same, does anyone have another suggestion for a easy to breed small non climbing roach species?
doesn't have to be a fast breeder, cause the number of spiderlings and small scorps I'm going to get is even below 10.
all hints and tips appreciated.
