Trying to determine jumping spider cause of death

I am new to keeping jumping spiders and had purchased an enclosure and spood from a reputable breeder.
The spider arrived at i7 and molted successfully to i8 about 10 days ago.

After that, however, he didn't eat for almost a week post-molt. I tried mealworms, xsmall phoenix worms, was waiting for bottle fly spikes to arrive, but got some xsmall crickets from Petsmart and he pounced on them and ate them.
A day or so later, he started being erratic when I would mist one side of the enclosure and would fall to the substrate. Today, he died. I am trying to figure out what went wrong. Are crickets not good for spiders? Could he have gotten bitten by one?

I would like to try again, but don't want to repeat mistakes.

Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks,
Paul

Sorry for your loss. I don't keep these so I don't have anything helpful to offer, but pictures of the enclosure would be helpful as well as any video of the movements of you have it.

Can you elaborate on the "erratic" behavior? And do you see any signs of trauma after the fall?

How many crickets did you put in/how many were eaten and how big was the cricket compared to the spider?
