Hi all

after the loss of buster i am trying again, can any one advise me on the best starter spider to get one that will live happily in a glass vaverium that is 30x30? i wantto get one that easy easy to maintain and one that can be handeled and wont march around like he is king lol...

My vote would be for a Brachypelma albopilosum (Curly hair) That's what I want next, mostly due to the cuteness and docile nature.

Are you looking for strictly terrestrial or is arboreal a possibility? For arboreal I'd say A. avicularia or A. metallica and at least a juvie.

B.albopilosum are nice but I never see mine. It loves to burrow.

That sounds like a really large aquarium, or is it just me?

You would need to get an adult to put into that.. unless you plan on having a sling in a smaller enclosure first.

Any Brachy species would be a good starter
