I really want to say this is a wolf spider of some sort, I haven't been able to find out much about it? Whatever she is, though... She's pretty :D We were tilling the ground for our garden yesterday and her burrow must have been tilled - miraculously, she survived. I tried to get some nice macros of her, I've never seen a spider with red on either side of the chelicerae like this. Any sort of ID or suggestion would truly be appreciated!

i'm gonna say hogna. again. the eye pattern and the red on the chelicerae give it away.

Thanks for the ID, Widowman! I still have her; she's a little jumpy but she's a beautiful spider. I made the mistake of letting that Australian Huntsman go last summer, I'm not going to make that same mistake twice :D
