Yeah, i second that, looks definately like some sort of wolf-spider.

And a quite nice looking, for that matter.

Damn, the more i see pics of wolf-spiders from countries other than germany, i come more and more to the conclusion germany is the only country world-wide that has just itsy-bitsy tiny wolfes.

What a pitty. Thanks for sharing that pics.

Greetings,

Stefan

if it makes you feel better,....
Belgium doesn't have any big Lycosidae either ;)

Could it be a Lycosa singoriensis ?

PS:
(If you ever want to get rid of it,... ;) :D )

Stefan: We´ve got some bigger wolfspiders here in germany...Alopecosa spp. and Arctosa spp. Trochosa should also get about 1,5cm BL

Hi Improver,

thanks for that info!

I´m afraid, i have to admit that´s still too small for my taste. I´d like something like at least 3cm or better even more in body-length.

I´m going to give the L. tarentula a try, they´re said to get a size of something like 2,5 to 4cm if i´m lucky...

That L. singoriensis Steven mentioned could prove to be interesting and shouldn´t be too hard to get if honest efforts are made.

The wolf of my dreams is (and stays) H. carolinensis. Watch out, you US-citizens, someday i´m going to enter your land and take away one single wolfie... {D

Greetings,

Stefan

It's not mine, so I can't get rid of it .. No big Lycosids hehe too AFAIK, so I was wondering if it is a local living specie .. But it doesn't look like the one you mentioned to me ... The very few informations I have found about it haven't mentioned my country as a coutry of origin ...
