I've already done a search and couldn't find anything to help. It says my file is too large, any suggestions?

I tried using paint to downsize, guess I can go even smaller, but it'll be a thumbnail almost. I'll try that... Thanks all.

Photoshop is the best way to make a pic smaller in size but not loose quality. There's an option somewhere to save it for use with a website which makes it small in size but keeps the quality the same.

I'll have to try and figure it out, I posted a pic of my male A Seemani (in T Anouncements) and it looked like a sling. I'll try to figure out how to resize it.

Go to Photobucket.com and place it on there if it exceeds I think 250 kb they will resize it and you can just copy the IMG link and paste it on here

I recently came across something from google. Its called Picassa2 and it seems quite polished with all sorts of features and eye-candy features. Great for resizing and cropping/editing pictures. Best of all, its FREE. Look for the more... link on google's main page. :)

if you don't mind the picture being resized to a smaller one, then go to photobucket.com and make a free account. You can upload pictures on there quickly and if the file is too big it will automatically resize it to make it smaller.

If you want the picture to stay the same size then I recommend getting photoshop.

I had that problem when I tired to shink a picture in paint as well, make sure you are also downsizing the CANVAS part....which is the white part outside of the photo itself. I didn't realize I hadn't shrunk the white part outside of the photo, and that will count as part of it's size. That's probably what's happening. If you open it in a nother program you may fin that there is a bunch of useless white canvas still stuck to it.

if you have windows, use paint right click on the picture, hit the edit button, go to the image option at the top, go to stretch/skew option and enter in the percentage you want to resisze too in the horizontal and vertical axis, this should take care of it hope this helps.

Microsoft also makes a powertool that will resize pictures. If you are using XP of course, but its very handy indeed. Search their site its there somewhere.
