No I do not use them but have read about them in The Tarantula Keeper's Guide (Schultz & Schultz). They describe the woodlice as subphylum Crustacea, order Isopods. Also known as sowbugs and pillbugs, these seem to be an excellent cleaner of what is left by the tarantula. The two coexist without problems but it warns you to keep good records and a close eye on your collection. They also say that they require a good bit of moister and that they avoid light whenever possible. Please share more information on how you started, how many you keep in relationship to the size enclosure, and if you have had any problems. A picture would be excellent if you could squeeze one in. http://animaldiversity.ummz.umich.edu/site/accounts/information/Crustacea.html

I haven't personally used them but I have heard good things about them from others. I imagine it'd go well with burrowing species.

I was thinking of putting in some of these guys with my T's that I am about to order. I would love more info on them as well (I read the links). Is it best to put 3-4 in with your T's and just let them regulate themselves, or to make a seperate culture and then only put one iso in at a time?

Can they be used with any size of T or are they dangerous to the little guys? I am orderin 1/2"-ers.

Dwarf Jungle Isopds

The Isopods you speak of are called Tricomesta Tomestosa i believe but my spelling might be wrong,
I have a culture going and they do breed very fast, they get ot 8mm in total length and they are about the easiest so far to culture they are cool looking.
