Just wanted to know if anyone had apic of an immature trinidad chevron (p. cambridgei). I purchased one a while back and truthfully it appears more like a N. chromatus or A. geniculata than a P. cambridgei.

I dont have a pic of my P. cambridgei sling anymore but I raised one from sling to adulthood. do you have a pic of your sling? I can pretty much tell you if it is a cambridgei or not.

I don't have a pic yet. it basically has a reddish rump and white banding on the knees. did your's resemble this at all?

no definitely not a P. cambrigei. sounds like an A. geniculata (which I also raised one from sling). P cambridgei is more of a subdued brown with doted red color on the tip of their legs, chevron abdomen, and they are also leggy. if I had to guess you may have a geniculata there.

It didn't look like the geniculata aither. i'll borrow a digital camera tomorrow and see if i can get an id. it is rather leggy and definitly looks more arboreal than terrestrial. I bought it from a repurtable dealer so hopefully i didn't get screwed. i know slings often look differant than the adults, GBBs are a good example.

Hedorah99 you might want to have a look at that post from Incubu5. The 4th picture is an excellent shot of how a P. cambridgei sling should look like.

By the way, I had a similar experience not long ago, when I realized that the teeny tiny little spider that I aquired in Hamm, Germany as P. irminia in march of this year was really a P. murinus, lol. Now i have to make some room for a 3rd terrarium - I definately want that suntiger sooo bad.
