Trigonophorus rothschildi varians green

I found this little guy a few days ago on our deck. Hit the wall a little too hard i think. This is one species of beetle i am quite interested in keeping/breeding. I'm looking for more to try and get some going.

My picture isn't that great, but the links at teh bottom look better. Everyone agree on this ID?

Hmmm... from this side it doesn't look like Cetoniidae beetle to me. It belongs rather to Rutelidae family (former Rutelinae in Scarabaeidae).

Very beautifull specimen :)

Aggreed. It looks like a Rutelid.

hmm ok, i will try and get better pictures....i have a very hard time with "shiny" things and reflection....

i have looked aroudn the net and could it possibly be Anomala sp?

i should also point out its a fruit eater....its eating a blackberry type thing and mango right now.
