Triangulate care?

I have kept a triangulate before where all i did was put a stick inside a jar. She made a strong enough web that it could suspend the stick so i kept the jar upside down to clean her poop and discarded food as needed.

However recently i caught a new triangulate. She's acting much different. She built a smaller web that wont support a stick that way. I used 3 little bamboo skewers for her to build onto. Is this possibly toxic/irritating to her? My previous triangulate also would stay in the semi middle of her web, but this one wants to stay in a corner by the lid. (Judging from other posts, this is more typical behavior.) She is eating but im concerned I'm not giving her the proper husbandry and that my previous one was just a little daredevil or something. Or that i used a natural stick last time and that my new triangulate is not appreciating the bamboo skewers.

My final concern is how often is optimal to feed her? I assume once a week. I give her flies i catch. I also catch crickets to feed.

Ive had her for about a week or two so far. Any and all advice helps :)

The pictures are kinda bad it was the best my camera would capture. When my fiance gets home i could use his it's a lot better. Hope these help. Im almost positive shes a triangulate but I'm also not an expert.

One of the pictures is of the top of the lid to show her hiding under it, but its hard to tell that's her because of the picture quality and the way the jar kinda warbles photos.

Different species but same family: some of my Latrodectus spp. cheap out on their webs in captivity as well.

I have also had varying webs with different specimens of S. triangulosa.
