Treats For Bearded Dragons?

Hello! I'm thinking about getting a bearded dragon, and I'm wondering, what things can they eat as healthy treats, or even the occasional protein replacement (besides insects etc, if anything)? One specific thing I'm thinking about is small pieces of meat, like chicken on lean beef. Would these make a good treat for them? Also, I have heard mixed opinions about feeding pinky mice; how do you guys feel about them?
Thanks!

I've never fed mine anything like human meats -- they get roaches/crickets/mealies/supers/waxworms, etc -- yannoe -- feeders. For treats, mine enjoys fruit (you can google and find long list of bearded dragon 'safe' foods). Mine is better at eating fruits than greens and veggies these days. I prefer to offer only fresh fruit/veg -- never anything canned/frozen/cooked. The exception are squashes -- esp butternut squash which I either bake or use baby food squash varieties. Otherwise -- fresh fruit/veg only.

I would never feed mine a pinky mouse (even f/t). Just no need to. And their poops are foul enough without adding raw meat to the mix.

When I had a bearded dragon we fed her fruit as treats. Your lizard's diet should be supplemented with fruits and leaf greens anyway. (Collard greens, mustard greens, etc.) Mangoes were mine's favourite and she would bite my fingers just to get to it quicker. I'd experiment with different fruits (check what's safe, there are a lot of options) and see what your beardie likes. Mine exclusively liked mango and cactus leaves despite there being a huge list of other things she could eat. We would also buy her mealworms on occasion and feed her those instead of her usual crickets when we felt like it.

As for pinky mice, I suppose it's all up to personal preference but I'd advise against it. Just like with feeding them to a tarantula it's unnecessary and seems to only be for show, like "Oh watch I'm gonna fed my lizard this mouse isn't that so cool,"
