Hi! I received a small trapdoor spider. He/She is currently about 1/2 of an inch, but I have no access to any live prey for a spider that size. is it possible to feed it dead preay somehow? like cut up mealworms/dubias?

Hi, yes you can tweezer feed most trapdoors with freshly killed prey, normally crickets seem to be their favourite as they have trouble breaking down the tissue of roaches and superworms (even my 3.5" adult Anamidae from a number of different genera will spend days eating a single superworm and never finish it)

ok, thanks so much. :). how do I do it? do I open the trapdoor, and drop it in? or drop it, and move it around on the substrate, or is there another way?
