For all you tortoise keepers out there: I am getting a tortoise. Most probably a russian but the redfoot has an outside shot. Any way, I wanted to clarify some things about housing them. Some sites say that you can't keep a tort in an aquarium? Is this true? I may be able to have it outside in the summer, but our winters are too cold. I was also considering a stock tank. I have two available spaces: One space is at most 4 feet long and 2 feet wide. The other is 44 inches long and around 17 wide. The bigger area is located in a more high traffic area of my house, and I was considering keeping my dart frogs there. Any recommendations or insight would be very much appreciated. Also, if you have any tanks or setups that fit my specs, feel free to PM me.

During the winter if you arent going to hibernate it/them keep em in the stock tan or a huge rubbermaid. They do OK in aquariums when they are small but big guys need room to roam.
