I just got a .5" H. mac sling a week ago. I hope it doesn't take that long for him to molt, lol.
I'm getting conflicting info on how fast they grow. Does it just depend?

My room is kept at about 80 degrees these days, and my 5" H. mac sling has molted once in the almost five months I've had him. These things take some serious time to grow.

Previously, I kept this guy at room temperature (which round here is mid to high seventies) but I recently put them into the "hot box" which is kept at 80F... and then he molted days later LOL
