Its ok, its 8inch by 8inch?

If its a male, it doesnt need more.

a female could have a bit more in time. But this is bare minimum needs.

it has a hide, room to stretch, and accessible water bowl.

its a pet rock type of tarantula. It doesnt need miles of space.

Fully back up coconut against enclosure wall, angle it in the sub: back lower then front, and add sub on top of it. You just added more space. Its that easy.

at its current size, it could be in there for years anyways. Its a perfect home.

theres absolutely no worries there.

Definitely a lot smaller than I would go. It'll survive but lil bro has nowhere to move around and burrow (which are probably my favorite things to watch them do lol).

I wouldn't say it's too small, but it's about 2 times his diagonal legspan, and I like mine to have a bit more room at this stage. Mine is around 2 inches (which seems maybe about the same size as yours?), and he's living in an 8x8x8 cube, which is a tad on the big side for him, but he's dug himself a full burrow and makes his rounds in the enclosure each day even if he seems like he's mostly a rock. He's grown up enough that the modest amount of extra space doesn't get in the way of him finding food or anything.

It's up to you. He's not going to suffer in there or anything and has everything he requires, but it's smaller than I'd use for a tarantula his size.

I would say too small as well - for a sling or small juvenile, the enclosure:spider rational would be good but for his size I'd give him his big boy/girl digs now.
