My dairy cows have exploded in population. Theres so many of them I'm not sure what to do with them. The tarantulas dont really care about eating them and selling them wouldnt end in any kind of profit because their prices are rock bottom over here (and the journey to the post office would take a chunk out of any money I made) so... what do I do with em? I mean, I could just cull them but that seems like such a waste of life.

Do centipedes get anything out of eating them? Does anything else readily prey on them? Thank you for any ideas aha!

Contact dart frog/mantella keepers in your area. Perhaps salamander enthusiasts may want some. I'm sure there is a market for them other than normal invert people.

You could also just leave them, if there's not enough food or space for the colony they will self regulate. I agree with looking for keepers that would use them as feeders.

Great idea! I already found a group in my country for frogs so I will see if they wanna take some off my hands. I've been hoping they'd self regulate, but some new babies have just appeared. I wish my giant oranges would breed as fast as the dairy cows do....!

If you leave them long enough they will self regulate but that can take a very long time. Dairy cows are famous for being very prolific.

I didn't expect them to breed at all, I'm not that lucky, but apparently my millipedes giving birth and my pods are generating children like every few second and I'm like aha maybe I've set them all up a little too well  :bigtears:

I have tons of the dairy cows. I just sell them to local shops so I don’t have to deal with them. I would invest in some frogs or assassin bugs

I was thinking about a frog! But I heard they need really specialist requirements to keep alive. My town is super small and we have a single pet shop, kinda sucks here aha.

As far as PDFs it's as simple as adding the substrate layers (drainage, sub barrier, sub levels, leaf litter), adding plants, letting the plants root and keeping the terrarium ground moist and keep high humidity and 75-80*F temperatures (depending on the species).

There's no chance that I'm putting porcellio laevis Isopods in with any dart frogs. Not worth the risk to the dart frogs.

I have ~ 45 dart frogs right now and culture 25 types of Isopods

Get yourself a Tokay Gecko, that will soon sort them out, and you will have yourself one of the most colourful reptiles around.

Raptiliatus was able to get his adults and babies super chill. They are stressed or aggressive because of being WC and imported and are not used to people. It also depends on individuals. When I pick up lizards in the back yard. They also try to bite me.

Interesting, I’ve heard of cb babies sometimes being nuts too. Socialization should sort that out though.
It depends on the individual. Wild caught ones are usually crazy and bite, captive bred ones aren't much better. However if it's captive bred or even captive born and is raised from a baby and sees a human as a food source or perch rather than a threat then they can be as easy to handle as many other reptiles.

My bad. I have zero experience with dairy cow isos. I was just trying to think of some alternative sales markets the OP may try.
