OK...so I went up to the T-Room to check things out..like alot happens hour to hour..anyway my cobalt has been hanging out at the top of her tank since I got her last week. I did a substrate change in the off chance she didn't like the first one and she still hung out at the top. So tonite I go up there and....uh oh she's not there!! I kinda had a palpatation and was thinking the worst when from one of the holes I poked with my finger in the substrate I see legs poking out. So now I am all smiles and happy that she likes her dirt. I figure by the way she is waiting at the lip of the hole she might be a bit hungry. She has not eaten since her arrival last week. I offered but she refused...up till now. SO I throw a nice fat large cricket in there and he moseys on up towards her burrow then BLAM!!!!! She POPS out and grabs the poor cricketin the air and then lands on her back and just gives it the death hug. It was the coolest T kill I have seen to date. I was really impressed and glad that she finally is starting to feel comfortable....poor cricket tho.

Me neither! ;P Crickets are the only drawback of keeping T's, I hate those noisy, loud, smelly and disgusting insects. I'm smiling every time my T's makes a kill ;P

I agree, it's always a good feeling when you know your T is comfortable with its new surroundings. At least before it started its burrow, you were able to see it. Now you'll probably never see it.

I enjoy watching T's eat, I don't feel bad for the crickets either:D
