How long can a fully grown common toad go without food? (They are cold-blooded, arn't they?)

If it was of good wieght to begin with I'd bet they'd be fine for a month or so, as long as they remain hydrated. They're pretty sedintary and yes theyre cold blooded (endothermic).

Actually cold blood animals are ectothermic. AKA poikilothermic

Well in the wild, a toad can overwinter without eating for 4-6 months with no problems. At room temperature, a toad with reasonable body weight could go for 2 months, possibly 3 or 4, but then it would be pushing starvation and death. I know I have personally not fed some of my toads for over a month and they were still plump buggers.
