Hi everyone!
Thinking of adding this to my collection.
Could those of you that have this species tell me about the growth rate?
Is it as slow as the G. pulchra?

And of course, anything else you'd like to tell me about it would be much appreciated as well

Skittish? Feisty? Likes to conspire world domination with other species? j/k :p

Thank you!

No, raised both from slings, I've had my pulchra for a year longer than my schroederi and the schroederi has overtaken the pulchra in size.

Mine is out pretty often but ducks into its burrow when disturbed, hasn't ever kicked hairs at me, great eater.

Thank you SO much! I have an H. sp. colombia heading my way this week so I'll be adding this species to my order as well. 😁

I miss mine so much, losing her to a bad molt is what made me lose my passion for the hobby (it has reignited). I found mine to be quite food motivated, and always out in the open. One of my top three favorite species.

Aww I'm so sorry for your loss. It's never easy losing our babies - doesn't matter if they have fur or exoskeletons.

My Belle is a G. pulchra and of all the ones I have, she's my "baby" and always will be.

Big hugs to you ♥
