Yeah that’s right I’m coming up with this common name for this species from Nicaragua. As I promised here are some photos of a darker/back carapace form albopilosus. Oh yeah it’s got blue highlights on parts of her body lol. Seriously folks there are some T. albopilosus that have 99.9% of their carapace cover in black coloration. I simply call this ones “Dark Form. The last two photos are of two different females which I basically call them the “Platinum Form” or “Silver-White Form”. All three specimens are females. 71526655-6F51-40A2-A1E0-9D10231832B5.jpeg 168ED1FE-6CDF-4DD2-B3ED-3766B1069CE0.jpeg 0725BD9E-FBBF-406B-9472-8F7E41070ED4.jpeg AEBC1CB1-0449-4834-A43C-8A7CFE69F93B.jpeg 4EF90F77-ABD9-4C6D-A9D8-7CE1F4A8D885.jpeg A8CC6E35-1333-4921-AAF0-C4F6F941DCE5.jpeg 5BDC3E0D-1171-4A35-80AB-39ED116B94D8.jpeg ”.

Ooo, I like the idea. I have seen the dark ones and I hope mine is, though I do not know what it will look like as an adult yet.

I dont know if this simplifies or unnecessarily overcomplicates, but the curly hair I got for my father was the latter 2 pictures and seems a more bronze variant as opposed to silver. The carapace reminds me of P Arautus.
