I've bred this Species before some month ago. I've put the male into the cage of the female (20cm broad, 20cm deep and 30cm high, with a large bent bark on the background). The bark has a hole in the upper side (the entrance to the tarantulas shelter) and the Cyriopagopus schioedtei female lives behind the bark. The male started with drumming, the female came out of her shelter and they've mated without any Problems. After the mating they've separated peacefully. That was in the summer 2002. In January 2003 she builts the cocon and after 7 weeks I've took the Cocon away from her. There were round about 80 praelarvae in it.
