New keeper here and I keep my feeder crickets in a critter keeper (paid £10 odd). Does the trick. Has two black plastic tubes that slide in the sides which the crickets will hide in. Shake out the tube till you got one cricket left in there then shake him out into your Ts enclosure. Used to own a bearded dragon years ago and fed with crickets but just kept them in the plastic tubs. Always lost a few every time I fed him!
