the best way to get ur parents to let u get more just tell them how cute and cuddly they are

the way I did it is I went to my parent that likes my Ts (my mom) and told her I was interested in getting more. She said to ask my dad and I said, "well...its my money, and my room...I won't get anything other than tarantulas" and she said ok. (except on obt T_T I really want one...)

My first T: I didn't ask, I just showed up with it. And then the next three showed up in the mail altogether... My situation is a little bit different though, since I'm away at school with the spiders 11 months out of the year and all.

However, most of my floormates in the dorm know about my little collection and are okay with it because of the following:
1) "I do not handle my tarantulas because I live in the dorms and I don't want anyone to get bit and I don't want any spiders to get squashed."
2) "If any T ever escaped, I would immediately notify everyone at the risk of my own eviction because I would rather be honest and responsible than be selfish."

Usually a little education goes a long way.
