Timor Monitors?

I've been kicking around the idea of getting a monitor recently (I've only kept Savannahs in the past), and was wondering if anybody had any experience with Timors? I like the looks of them over the Ackies personally and I know they don't get very big.

Any quirks/tips/insight from those who have kept them before? Thanks!

They are a good choice for a smaller monitor except they are flighty and quite shy. If you give them a good cage with plenty of hides, typically they calm down and come out to eat, bask, etc. in front of you. They aren't as calm as ackies (in my experience) but if you don't mind a lizard that takes some time to settle in, then they are a good choice.
