Data from most (terrestrial) tarantulas I've had have a pre-molt spatiotemporal pattern of 15/20 days (with the exception of the occasional 20/25 day). 20230925_010223-COLLAGE.jpg
Left: September 13th.
Right: September 25 (early morning today)..

Its tarsi and pedipalps are separated from the surface. Last moments before molting seizures. 1:20 am.

The Pre-molt stage has lasted 12 days since the L1 spiderling stopped eating.

Depends a lot on how you feed them... My A. purpurea has had pre-molt fasts so far of 25 days, 18 days, 8 days, and 23 days (in that order). Was probably 2i when I got it.

My P. irminia sling crushed it with the first two molts -- 10 days and 4 days.
