Tiger moth Q

I just caught a female tiger moth I will have pics next week since my camera broke. What do tiger moths lay eggs on up here?


Grammia virgo
It looks almost identical to this one.

Thanks for the prompt replyies guys due to timely info she laid eggs all over the container and I had to scatter them all over plants and release her. please even if you don't know just say I don't know.... Oh well I guess we can't know everything.

They eat a variety of different plants...so it would probably mean you'd have to try lots of kinds on the caterpillars. I got a caterpillar from some people that turned into a tiger moth like the photo. It was feeding on some kind of small flowering tree.
