My A. Versicolor was joined this weekend by an A. Avic and an A. Purpurea from Midwest Exotic Pets. Thank you Art! An A. minatrix is on my wish list and I’d like to get one of the more brown/tan color forms. I’ve been leaning towards a A. Hurianna. Any recommendations from the group?

MrFeexit -

Digital. I use a Nikon Coolpix 995. It's able to take some pretty tight close-ups and the resolution is quite good. It's been replaced by a newer model so I picked it up on ebay recently for a song.

A. hurriana actually has some nice colors and is a great looking T. I think you would like the A. hurriana.

As for some of the not so brightly colored Avics, you might go with an A. urticans or an A. aurantiaca. Both are really fuzzy, but don't have the bright colors that some of the other Avics do. But both of these are beautiful in their own ways.
