I havent seperated them by family yet, these are pics of the just completed operation.
other than three of them, the rest were done this week.
and other than four of them , the rest i collected myself and are texas natives.
i just got saw that my freezer was almost too full to close, and figured i better get some done.
i estimated i did over 350 this week.
i only have another 1,500 or so to go.:8o

now i have to put these into their glass display cases.

anyhow..lots of different specimens to see..i know its alot of pics, but there were alot of bugs.{D

hope you see something you like.

Wow. Thats a ton of bugs.

And is that Hyles lineata I see in there? I once raised some from cats I collected in So. Cal. I think I still might have one or two preserved around here somewhere.:?

it's like completing a 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle... only made of inverts!

i think this, along with skeletonization, will become my main sources of "hobby time" when i finish graduate school next year.

Oh my goodness.. not only congratulations on all of your hard work, but look at all of those cool bugs! I love your big eyed clicker beetle, and tiger beetle and what kind of Neuropteroid is in the 2nd picture of your 2nd post? I cannot tell what it is. I could look at your pictures for an hours. Awesome, thanks for sharing.

Looks like that took a while!

however I'd stay away from here if I were you. ;) all my dermestids are slabbering merely from looking at those pictures. they've allready booked the tickets, they're going to hunt you down and eat your collection! ;)

It is a damn pretty collection I must say.
