Well am getting another shipment expected to arrive tomorrow of another 4 T's....

B. boehmei
P. murinus
A. genic
C. darlingi

BUT I am getting more excited about the tubs of roaches that I have ordered with them lol .... is that backwards? I have never had roaches before and am going to attempt to make a colony, but I don't know if 3 tubs will be enough to at least start a colony lol.

I didn't expect to be so excited about a bunch of roaches lol, it will make a change from those nasty little crickets lol.

You're excited because roaches are so much different to tarantulas, you have no idea what to expect, whereas you have lots of Ts and they're all very similar.

best advice i can give for starting a colony, is feed them oranges, and wait until you've got your second set of nymphs before you feed from the box
that way you've got two generations (at least) plus what you purchased to be ticking over with.

If you keep them warm and feed them enough, very soon you won't know what to do with all of them :)

I know the feeling. I started out with Ts awhile back, still keep many today. But now I have 12 different species of roach, and only one of them are common (dubias). Just be careful, like tarantulas, roaches are addicting to collect.

How many different types do you use as feeders?

LOL it's always exciting to get involved in a completely new animal!
I'm jealous that you're getting a C. darlingi... I've been considering it myself lately!

I always say I love baboons, but I was focused on Pterinochilus and kept overlooking the other baboons LOL A picture of an adult female C. marshalli fixed that though!
