There's grass growing in is cage...?

My monitor has grass growing in his cage. I don't know how it happened, as I'm using dry eco earth and the only time it gets wet is when he jumps in and out of his water bowl.

He doesn't seem to mind the grass, he's actually rubbing his face in it.

Should I change the substrate though? I don't want it in there if it's bad for him. There's also not alot of it, only on the side of the cage by the glass on one side.

well........you know what you have to do....get your little lawnmower out and cut that grass!{D LOL it's proberly little seeds in there,i had that too with that stuff,mix it around and maybe dry it out alittle. your monitor is proberly having a great time on his lawn:D

Alright, I'll try to get rid of most of it, I'd rather not have to do a complete substrate change, so if he likes it and it won't hurt him then I'll just leave some in there. :)
