The Newest Addition

Well i figured i would post some pics of the newest addition to my collection, just picked it up today from Chris at Krazy 8's, a beautiful specimen of a Egyptian Solfugid.

I think I'm gonna name it Nephthys, its a hard name to say but it the Egyptian goddess of death, so i figure its pretty fitting. So what do you guys think?

Ah, very nice. You should check out the thread on them in the 'True Spiders' forum. It has some very nice information on them that might be hard to come by elsewhere.

headed out to try and find the local species of those guys tonight, they are lil guys though, bout an inch long. my brother and i are going to take a section of prairie apart, log by log, rock by rock, ill be happy if we find 2 of the buggers though i really have never tried this approach to finding them so maybe we will get lucky. very cool critters
