OK so I posted in the dog thread but as requested by Kathy this is the new baby. This is my craigslist find. A lady honestly didn't want to get rid of him. After posting a wanted add, information on what I was looking for, and the extensive background I have in showing and training many breeds, I received an email. She registered my personal opinion on this puppy. Lady claimed she had found him at her apartment and wanted to know if it looked shepherd. After giving some feedback she requested I come look at it and rehome with a promise to keep her updated on him and the cost of shots only. I did see a pretty female Shepherd who looked like she had recently whelped pups. I believe she is either being honest about it or he may have been a hold back she couldn't keep. I was honestly hoping to find a more show quality and registered that my son could begin training on. I went and saw him and couldn't believe his temperament suited exactly what I was looking for. He is blue so yes a serious fault but this will be an obedience 4-H dog therefor registration and faults do not matter. Later he may show AKC but for now I want to see where his interest in it will be before I shell out 2grand. Anyway I actually squealed over him he is handsome, very dominate, and learns extremely quickly. At somewhere between 6-8 weeks (he's gonna be a big boy) he is mostly house broke and kennel trained. He is still showing those pretty blue tinted eyes and looks as though he may keep that bi-black color. Here's the new boy named Kenai after the mountains in Alaska.

Learning to stack up but not letting me pull that leg back. lol

He is a cute little guy & won't stay little very long! One of my favorite dog's ever was a male Shepherd I bought from a lady in a small Arkansas town not far from me. I named him Duke and was only able to keep him less than a year but even by that time he was huge. His favorite toy was a NFL sized football he'd carry around in his mouth!
Awesome dogs, loyal & fearless and I plan on getting another one day. Good luck with your new member of the family.

Yeah it's taken me a long time to get another Shepherd after Sheba and Shasta. :D They are truly a favorite for me.

Oh, sooooo adorable! Hug, hug, hug, that's all I want to do is hug them! I never care about the background or looks, as long as they have a great personality and can play with the kids, that's what matters the most to me. :) What a pretty name too!

Is this the one you ended up shooting that attacked? I can't remember, if so, how sad, you were so excited to get her. :(
