I just remembered this last night, and just had to post it.

I was in the pet store one day and a young boy with his mother were in the store picking out something for their aquarium, the boy picked out a medium crayfish, and while they looked for dog food the guy at the register kept the crayfish in a clear bag on the counter until they were ready to pay. I was at the counter waiting to pay for my stuff. So they got the dog food and went to the counter to pay. The guy at the register was ringing up the items, when he was like "well what do you know" He lifted up the crayfish bag, and the crayfish had molted right in the bag, now it was large in size. The little boy was happy and amazed. Now here's the moronic part.

The guy at the register then said to the mother; "you know, i'm going to have to charge you extra for this." The mother thought he was joking, but he said; "really I have to charge you for buying a large crayfish instead of a medium one"

Can you believe he was serious! The mother and son still brought it, but walked out silent, the mom of course looked mad.

That was totally rediculous and that mom should have stood up for herself!!!If they picked it out as Medium, it should be sold as such regardless!
Good thing I wasnt in line, I would have said something to the clerk.

I agree that was BS. If it was me, i wouldn't have bought it at all just out of principle, I would have left and gone someplace else to purchase one for my son.

sucks for them
if she wanted a medium crawfish, she should have paid for it befor it multed, or chosen another medium one.

hears a good story
dr. peaper was on sell, 2 2 leters for 2.22
some lady grabed a dr peaper and a peapsie.
we whouldnt sell it for the 2 for 2.22$ cus well...dr peaper and pepsie arnt owned by the same company, so we stood thear arguing for 20 min while i got a line of 15 ppl.

Nice comparison...? Anyways, your logic behind your first comment is pretty...out there..*beats me*
If She was standing in line to pay for the crayfish and it molts at the spot, how could the lady be responsible for not buying it on time? It's not like crayfish have expiration dates.

Tell him to come over here and I can catch him a big WC red one no charge. :D

That's really sad. I would've been like, "Can I see your manager?" Hehe.
